    Are My Friends Button Polyps Melting? i knew he was doing a bad thing and i tried to stop him..but he added salt directly into his fish tank..his mushrooms kinda turned inside out but went back to normal really quickly..but the button polyps are a couple of hours looked stranger and stranger..see pic below..i have seen these polyps emit these "snot" strings before..even sometimes when they feed..but i have never seen one emit a string from its mouth looking like its body was melting...has anyone ever seen anything like this..it you have any photos please feel free to post similar situations..thank u

    i can only post 50 photos and i have more photos of it looking a lot thicker and a lot worse but i guess you can only have 50 pics..is this true?

    Im not sure what they are doing, but I know it is very bad to add salt directly to the water. You can burn coral easily.

    The corals got burned by the salt. Those polyps are a loss sorry :(

    Yea those 3 or 4 polyps are decomposing..the other 8 or so on that same rock are doing fine..
