One thing to note for those that don't know, cold working the shell you must wear a respirator as the dust is like asbestos to your lungs... not good at all. Keep it wet and wear protection

Acid etching is fun.. just use a little muratic acid and it'll take help take off any oxidation and some of the "brown slime" coat. Then use a little clear coat and you'll have a brilliant shell
