Aquacave?

Anyone dealt with aquacave before? I ordered a temp probe off them about a month ago. First they told me I had the wrong probe, even though their add stated it was for an Aquacontroller III. Then they told me I was right and it was on backorder two weeks. No biggie. I decided to wait. Then 2.5 weeks go by and I email them and they say "waiting on a response from neptune". Another couple days, I email, no response. Another couple days, email, no response. I do get a wonderful automated email that says "review the product you recently ordered on aquacave."
I send an email back stating "I still havent received it yet. It has been a month since i ordered it so I cant review it. I can do a review on aquacave though" lol. I am starting to get quite frustrated.

 

I've never got to the point of ordering anything from them, but I contacted them via email to be notified when a out of stock product would be available for purchase. This was months ago. I was never contacted. Bought somewhere else. lol

 

Marine Depot rocks.
I shop around for the best price and Marine Depot honors it. I try to wait until I have a big order to get the free shipping too.
Sometimes if it's a small order Dr. Foster may be a better deal.

thats unfortunate, I also had a good experiance with them, baught my lighting system and a few misc items this summer, ordered it all on friday and recieved the complete order on tuesday.

 

GRRR lol I want my temp probe!!! I need it to finish off my stand work (fans, etc) with my new ACIII

 

I had a good experience with them also - I bought my skimmer from them about a year ago and some of my replacement bulbs this year. Have you tried to call and talk to a "human"?

+1 ^ ive ordered from them a couple of times and everything was perfect. Fast delivery. They have a good selection for sure. Never had to deal with customer service or anything tho

 

I am with you. I ordered my protein skimmer from them, told me it shipped, finally came in, wasn't exactly what I ordered. I called them, yelled a bit because they wouldn't listen to me. finally got everything resolved, and got the correct skimmer. Try calling them and talking to someone. Their email responces are real slow and I found not real accurate.
