aqua medic blue?

hello people, as im currently looking for a protein skimmer, before i purchase a recommended aquamedic turbo flotor 1000 multi brand new, i just found this on e bay. aqua medic 1000 blue protein skimmer fish tank marine on eBay, also Filtration Heating, Fish, Pet Supplies, Home Garden (end time 05-Apr-09 21:39:34 BST).
not sure what the difference is from the one i want to get,if any, just thinking i might be able to save myself a few pounds and is it really worth it?does anybody run or know anthing about this skimmer???!!!!!many thanks all

check out this site Jeth - both models are on it , how big is your tank as the one on ebay is for tanks 100 - 125 gallons - if your tanks not that big, and you over skim a 70 gallon for example - no problem

 

I run this skimmer in my sump. Works pretty damn well

 

I have currently an aquamedic turboflotor 1000 on my tank and it is working great....but don't over stock... otherwise you will need a higher one.
