And now come to think of it I think Iv been seeing my hermits mating.Iv caught a few locked together.I tried to split them up thinking they were fighting, gently with a bamboo skewer and could not.Later when checked they were both fine and off doing there own thing.Iv seen this at least 5 times in the past month or two.Any chance thats what im seeing?

So I went over to the tank to watch the hermit crab larvae and noticed one of my snails standing up on its foot stretched out as far as it could go and then it spewed a ton of microscopic white eggs!!! I grabbed the camera and caught the whole thing on video....Why is everything in my tank hatching at the same time?

Yep i had one in my 14 gal nano about 2 wks ago. I thought it was copepods, it turned out to be hermit fry. My coral beauty, and my peppermint shrip had a feast. Very cool...honestly i hpoe some of them made it.

reddog, everything in my tank is breeding right now too. Started on Valentine's Day LOL.
We had one huge stomatella in the DT (several in the bottom) that has released sperm a few times, then my boyfriend said it looked like it was releasing eggs the other night. I moved one of the others from the refugium to the DT so maybe we can get some going up there. My strombus snails have laid well over 35 egg casings in the refugium. The ceriths have been laying eggs on the glass and rock. I caught my 2 Nassarius mating a couple of times, and the hermits too a while back, and we know what the result of that was! I also have 2 of 3 peppermint shrimp that are gravid. One's gonna bust any day now!
