I think most of us bought them at lfs or ordered them. I ordered mine from a live rock supplier (tbsaltwater.com) Mine is an N. Wennerae which one of the most common hitch hiker species.

stomatopod.com has a G. Smithii in stock which is the most sought after species. It stays small 3-4" fully grown so it is good in a 10gal. $70

Was wondering if a 12g nano would be fine to have a mantis in if it will be the only thing in there. I have one available for cheap but wanted to make sure a 12g was big enough.

The peacock mantis seems to be my favorite as of right now, I just love the beautiful colors of it.

a 12 gallon would be too small for a full grown peacock.

Awesome thanks, think I will get the Nano and hopefully be able to find a small peacock mantis then when the 30g is ready move him to the 30g. Can always use the nano as a frag tank in the future I guess so no loss.
