I'm starting to think my "manly" orange shoulder is a bit of a nancy.. perhaps metro. i haven't decided yet.. but he likes moving small rocks and shells around.. i've seen him pop a snail off the glass before and carry him around the tank.. snapped a couple shots today of the action..

anyone else have fish in their tanks that move/carry things around? lets see it :D

The only thing that gets remodeled is my sand bed. Pistol Shrimp and goby pair...that sand is probably sifted through entirely once a week or less. They are quite the bulldozing duo.

And the shrimp is known to kidnap snails. Then put them back. It's really funny to watch...he came out of his burrow carrying a nassarius snail today. He must have dug him up, but he just set him down on the sand outside of the hole. :D

thats a really nice orange shoulder you got there. I have a blue hippo which has a cave that is sleeps in at night time--- no matter what. So lately, ive put small LR pieces piled up in front of it (the entrance being only about 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide). The first night, the tang tried getting in but failed and just slept beside the rocks. The next day though, when i woke up, all the rocks were moved to create a whole he could fit in, and there he was. favourite fish by far.

That is a very cool fish. My Red Coris Wrasse moved things around quite a bit. He needed toys. Right now, I have something that is collecting rubble and placing it in front of a little cave in the center of the tank. Don't know what it is, but it is at work.....

My clowns don't like anything near what they host unless they put it there. They will push, shove, knock off whatever I put there that they don't approve of...
