I just got new contacts, I have had so many problems with them before.. but anyways when you first start wearing them (im on day 3) is it supposed to feel dry.. and weird when you blink, I wonder if this is going to go away, they just make my eyes feel so tired..anyone else have this problem? This is my last shot at them I have tried every other brand.. grrrr

You will get used to it, are you wearing soft or hard contacts?

Soft ones, they aren't so bad but when I close my eyes I just never want to open them again!

I remember my eyes taking a while to get used to them.

Personally, I've found the 24/7 contacts the most comfortable, as they breathe easier and do not dry out the eyes. I still take them out every night, but my eyes feel much better compared to other types of contacts.

Give it 3-4 weeks, and if you dont notice a difference, try talking to your doc again.

what brand? I wear purevision 2 monthly contacts. Are you sure there not inside out? Btw, I would buy this, it makes contact cleaning so easy. The only con was you had to wait 6 hours after dipping them in.

I have tried pretty much all of them, I have a weird left eye and they don't sit right on it, but these ones do.. they are the best one's I have tried, 24/7 ones sound good though I hate taking them out and back in.

I had eye surgery, but my favorite soft contacts by far were the Acuvue Oasys. I wouldn't necessarily buy them from that website, but it at least shows what I am talking about.

That is terrible. I don't know what kind of insurance you have, but have you looked into lasik or PRK eye surgery. I'm very happy with my PRK. I was legally blind in both eyes (-5.25 in both eyes) and now I am seeing a little better then 20/15 with both eyes together.
