im crazy about my black background already, first spot or coraline i see i scrape it off, so that wont be a issue for me.
i have alot of rubble rock that i could epoxy together to make it pretty realistic. ive been looking around for a blue acrylic sheet locally all day. im pretty sure i want to do this.

I know Lowe's sells and cuts acrylic sheets. My local one also carries it in blue and black.

Yeah, the window tint might work. You would just have to rough up the front side and put the window tint on the back to make it look foggy.

yes thats what i was thinking. i have the strip of RGB strip from ikea already that i use for moonlighting now but i would prob use it for the shadowbox lighting. i only am using 2 of the 4 strips it has and it lights my tank awesome at night so if i use all of them i think it will work. then i can tweak the color between white, blue, aqua or green and see which looks more realistic.

BashSea has that blue acrylic, and he could probably custom engrave the thing on there using a CnC
