I have had this for about 1.5 years. It is an ESHOPPS sump (that I personally hate) it is the ADV 200.

I have been noticing water evaporation has been outrageous lately. We are having to add about 10g of water every 2 days or so. I have found some water in the stand and on the floor...so it is leaking somewhere, not massively but enough to make me worry.

So today we notice the front of the sump is bowing outwards in the main compartment. I still can not find the actual leak but this makes me very worried

I talked with the owner of the store that I work at today (where I bought the sump and tank from) and he said that he will contact ESHOPPS and get a warrenty refund for me to use with whatever I want. I dont want another ADV 200 as I personally think it is a very poorly designed sump...but they are coming out with a new cone skimmer! I have my eye on a custom made sump at the store right now...so might use that and get the new skimmer

I was just wondering if anybody else has ever had a sump bow like that? I am starting to think about plans of finishing my basement where I would love to get an inwall system with a fish room that we can plumb the reef tank upstairs and the inwall tank downstairs together into one giant sump. I know I would not be able to hold out for this but am curious if anyones sumps bowed like this. I am dreading the time when I am having to replace the sump because I will have to completely take down the tank to get to it :-[ but this time I will finally get it plumbed properly!

i haven't, but i was thinking for your replacement have you considered a stock tank that you can get from a place like tractor supply company? their rubbermaid stock tanks are very strong. i have used them before, i use them for different purposes now, still strong though...i think oceansparadise has them, he has the larger 110s like i do, but they come in all sorts of sizes.

I use two 10g tanks from Walmart. $7 each. Drilled them and connected with PVC. Actually, I broke one drilling so they cost me $21.
