anpgp how about a update, I'm looking forward to pics of growth form the led lamp you mentioned in another thread.

also a recomendation, remove the skirt that goes around the socket the LED bulb is in. It will cause the heat to not dissapate by reducing the efficiency of the heatsink. When LEDs get too hot there life span is significantly reduced.

I'll get some pics tomorrow and update. I added some more frags the other day from my main tank. A blasto, two acans, and some zoas. I saw a lamp with a removable shade at Staples online so I'm going to stop by there soon and check it out.

The tank has been doing great. Went through the normal diatom bloom which is for the most part over now. Here are some updated pics:

This is the new cleaner shrimp I got for the tank:

These are the frags I currently have cut that are healing up in the tank:

Wow it looks very cool. I wish I had the room to put up another tank.

Thanks, I really like it. It's only a 10gal. You're telling me you don't have room to set up a 10gal??? But then if you have room for a 10gal, then you should have room for a slightly larger tank and if you keep rationalizing, you can get yourself up to setting up something like a 125 :cheesy:.

Wow, it's been a long time since I updated this thread. Well here are some of the changes that occurred. I moved the tank back to my parent's place for the summer while I wait for my job to start with no casualties. The LED was moved into an open fixture. Changed the aquascape. LOTS of kenya frags. Sold the original 5 polyp acan frag that was in there. Had a 2 polyp black/purple/white acan frag completely heal and grow another polyp. And added some new additions since my main DT is full. I have a 4 polyp frogspawn and around 15 heads of duncan that I got from Blackraven, a very nice zoa rock, another blasto that has since grown around 3-4 new polyps, and a dendro from my main DT. Keep in mind that all of this is under a single BoostLED Par30 bulb and no skimmer running, mainly bc it's just my 5 sexy anemone shrimp in there with the corals now. Here are the pics:
