Another odd find in my Filter Sock!!!

    Well I was perusing the sump last night and checked the old filter sock. I stuck my head over the filter sock, only to see something that kind of creeped me out. I've been looking at ID guides and have not found what this is. I thought a feather duster of some sort, he has an appendage that is attached to the sock but he keeps moving around in the sock? To tell you the truth, this thing creeps the hell out of me.....:-/

    Yeah thats what I thought too!!! First thing that happened when my head was hovering over the sock. Was to bolt out of the stand but that ended up with a bonk on the top of the stand. :cry:

    do you have a refugium to put him in? i would keep it. its a cool looking creature. it does look like there could be two in there.

    That is what I was kind of leaning towards. Thanks!
    I read they were extremely hard to keep alive too. Thats why I thought it couldn't be a feather star.
    Definitely, it scared the poop out of me!
    Definitely is weird. Told you that this thing was a bit creepy! :-/
    Yes that is a second smaller one in there too!!! Freaking crazy.....
    I do have a fuge I can put them in. I'm just wondering the safest way to transfer them over?
