Anyone have any success keeping a bubble tip anemone with vortech power heads? I had one get chopped up by my vortech years ago and ever since I've been afraid to try one again. But now that I have a much bigger tank I'm wondering if it will stay of the power heads since the light pendants are concentrated at the middle of the tank.

I've got 2 mp40s in my 180 with no issues. I turned them down when I added the GBTA but but back up after it attached.

I think anemones can always move. I thought I saw that same type of powerhead with sponges that can go over the the screen, I would do that to ensure it doesn't get sucked in....just my .02

I did try those sponges at one time but they cut down the flow significantly. I might just give it a try since its only 20 bucks. Hopefully I'll have better luck this time
