Last night when I went to bed my anemone was moving around like its been doing the past couple nights after 3 months in one spot. So i figured no big deal, I woke up this morning and it looks like a battlefield took place there are little bits of anemone everywhere and my water is cloudy. I've narrowed it down to hitting a powerhead, because what else could've did this.. So I'm just wondering what are my steps now? I'm currently making 15 gallons for a water change going to run carbon, I don't have a skimmer yet because I ran into some trouble but one is in the near future. Is there anything else I should do? Thanks!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Siphon out as much anemone as you can. Test for ammonia and proceed with water change and new carbon, add some prime or similar product if you see a detectable ammonia level.

Just siphoned out all the large chunks of anemone there's just a couple little tentacles left, going to go pick up new carbon later on, and luckily I have some prime on hand.

Put carbon and take out what you consider most delicate corals, anemone can release toxins to water that can be harm to fish and corals
