Dont sweat it Fish. This guy has nothing productive at all to say, yet gets on here telling people what they say is offensive and a load of crap. If you ask me he is the one that is counterproductive.

Your opinion is your opinion and is respected by me and others Fish.

There is immense pressure on them in areas. Some areas have been whipped out. It's getting harder and harder to find them and collectors have to go further and further. The sand dwellers are the hardest hit... LTA, carpet, malu, sebea, etc. The reef head ones are much more able to reproduce by cloning so they are less in danger of over collection. There are people working on the sexual reproduction of them as I type. That may help alleviate the demand for wilds but it won't change the fact too many newb's have poor success with them.

I have a BTA, it's been in my care for over 10 years. I took the time to educate myself on what they need, how to set-up the tank, what problems could arise and what I could do for them if such a problem did arise :) Powerheads are a big time danger for them so I took great care in placement of my PH and installed a mesh guard top protect it. Now mine is not the norm as it's rarely moved and when it did, it went a few inches and no where near the powerhead.

Ummmm, folks. Don't you guys feel that we're really arguing over semantics plus not operating in the way that 3Reefer's normally do. I don't care if you all agree with each other or not. However, there is a PROPER WAY OF DISAGREEING. If folks decide they can't disagree with respect, I'll just close this thread.

Sorry bout that. I feel like this was a opinion thread but some people have a problem with that. I will get back to topic if I post again.

I concur. It seems fuses have been a little short lately. Although, it's sometimes hard to communicate tone and humorous sarcasm when messing around, it's best to remain friendly. Some of us have running dialogue with other members and can give a little grief, but newcomers might be offended. And thats not cool. Have a nice day everyone. :)

    I agree.
Sometimes it’s hard to tell what people are trying to say. Like when someone types in UPPER CASE, or bold, it’s hard to tell if there are just highlighting something, or are mad/yelling.
