Entitled is not just defined by "a written claim" directly related to a property.

Entitled- qualified for by right according to law; "we are all entitled to equal protection under the law"
Notice the word "Right" as in the law says we do not have to ask permission to do so. Entitllment carries no value judgment: it simply denotes a "right" granted. (as in- "We are entitled to our "rights", and are rights say we have the "right" to take certain things out of the earth.

Regaurdless where not speaking in aspect of the "law" for entitlement.
wheather somone is free to things God put on this earth (including Animals in the Ocean is debatable depending on your moral, cultural or religious beliefs. So I feel your not wrong but your also not right on that aspect because I don't believe that is a question that can be answered. What I do know is that people take whatever they what out of the Earth everyday. Living Animals, Oil, Coal, Minerals, Water, Trees, Etc Etc. Now as far as this Forum was conserned we are speaking on people purchasing Anenomes and putting in there tanks. Now you want to talk entitled? If an anenome is being sold "legally" somwhere, than most of us are entitled to buy it if we so choose. Just like we are entitled to go buy Gas, Oil, Paper, Wood, Water and other products being sold from the worlds natural resources. Who in the heck is going to tell you, your not "entitled" to buy gasoline to fill up your car because the Gas was made from Oil?

I just look at this from a diffrent approach I guess. I honestly feel the same as most on this topic. However I know getting on here scolding people and terlling them how there not entitled to something and telling them how dumb they are is not going to make people listen. In fact most people get offended and will do somthing more risky just to prove people wrong. People just need to be informed, educated. Maybe if they knew a little more about these things they would be smarter about it.

You are ABLE to buy them, not entitled to buying them. No one is entitled to anything. One earns, achieves, purchases, or acquires something.

obviously we need a dictionary for you:

    en·ti·tle

[IMG] /ɛnˈtaɪt[IMG]l/ [IMG] Show Spelled[en-tahyt-l] [IMG] Show IPA
–verb (used with object),-tled, -tling. 1.to give (a person or thing) a title, right, or claim to something; furnish with grounds for laying claim: His executive position entitled him to certain courtesies rarely accorded others.

2.to call by a particular title or name: What was the book entitled?

3.to designate (a person) by an honorary title.

Nothing peredhil said was offense, rude, or condescending. Your lack of being able to use a word properly is offensive. You are not informing anyone with this thread. There are hundreds of threads like these on many forums. These threads achieve nothing on a site that educates people.

Think about it this way. THEY DON’T HAVE BRAINS!
They don’t feel pain, think, suffer, they aren’t self aware, or have emotions.
You can put a carpet anemone in a 10-gallon aquarium with no light, and watch it melt away. But it wouldn’t care, or feel anything. So don’t think anemones don’t need to be taken out of the wild just because it might die.

Also if you think a anemone needs to stay in the ocean where they belong, what about dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, all fish, all coral, all inverts, don’t they have a natural habitat?
Aren’t there people that don’t know how to take care of them? So does that mean they need to be left alone?
No offence, I’m not trying to criticize you, I’m just trying to get people to think about it.

Whats offensive is you telling me your offended by a definition of a word and if you want to stand to be corrected "smart guy" why dont you keep looking up the true definition and what it is I am saying before you run your mouth.. I know your buddies with the perd but relax buddy. "this is a debate after all!!

I didn’t say it would be a good thing. I was just saying it wouldn’t be cruel.
Besides we all have a right to have our own opinion, so if you think it’s “crap” thats you opinion. And not my problem.

The fact so many clones are online now, which BTW are from people just like you (and are having so much success they are selling off clone, you know, captive bred clones) means a vast amount more of people are having success in their tanks. A majority of "online shops" do it part time and are hobbyists just like us. They are having success, success we did not see in 96. Thats what and is the crux of what I was saying :)

I did go on to say in another post that yah, since we have so many captive bred BTA clones around, maybe they should stop taking them from the wild.

You are obviously missing most of the definition. I guess your one of those people that does not read entire sentences. It says you have the right to what the law says you can have. Such as your FBI file. You are entitled to purchase what you wish. Therefor, by law you are entitled to buy or obtain what is legal and available to you. You are not entitled to an anemone.

BTW, I don't see an 'n' let alone 'men' in my name...
