Agreed I hate the size of the other PH on the market, if only I could combine the silence of the Koralias with the size and modes of the vortech I would be a millionaire making a killing off all you fellows lol.

Even though they are loud I can not argue with the water movement they create or the under tow they generate unlike the other pumps!

 

Supposed to be arriving in the mail today, wont get a chance to set it up until Friday though. Still no email back from ecotech, really dissapointed with that since when I was inquiring about the vortech they got back to me within 48 hours but since its an issue with the pump itself it has been almost a week and no word from the company.

On that note, however, the pump does seem to be getting quieter. It dose make a sound every nowand then where it sounds like something is loose inside the pump but then goes back to being pretty quiet with the motorcycle sound gone and just the whirling of the motor noticable. Im hoping it was just a break in and the occasional knocking is just the pump getting bumped by a fish and being thrown out of alignment for a few seconds
