    I saw the reviews and because I was looking for an LED based lighting system I'm trying to use that as a benchmark. The quality control actually seemed much better on the Single lit version but half the brightness.

    I'm avoiding going with non-LED lights because of heat issues in the summer, in an apartment, and this tank is temporary until I can get a large one where I am willing to spend on quality equipment.

    for a clam you need a 250 watt halide or better or lights that are equivalent to it.
