I got my order of base rock from reef cleaners this past week and the pieces were larger than I expected. So I had to move around some of my rocks to place the new rock on the bottom of my aqua scape. I disturbed my sand bed more than I would have liked and it caused a spike in my parameters.

Ammonia originally spiked to .25 and so did nitrites. The next day ammonia dropped back to zero but my nitrite has been slowly rising. It was at 1.0 when I tested before work today. I plan to do a 30% water change when I et home tonight.

Is there anything else I can do? My fish all seem to be doing fine and my three corals are all open and acting normal.

Should I be concerned? I placed the rocks in this Friday too if that helps
