    I disagree. You can never really have to much flow. You can, however, have to much flow pointed at a coral, the sand, or something else that cannot handle being pummeled. If you want to run certain ones at certain times without a wavemaker device, use timers and go for more powerheads. I feel that the 2 750s on top, 2 425 on the bottom and one 240 in the rocks would do well for you.

    I am running a 1400, 1050, two 400s, two 240s, and a return of 600 after head loss. That is a total of 4330gph of water movement through my tank. It is a mixed reef. The more pumps of lower gph is better than a few high gph pumps. You can have a more random flow and if one powerhead break you're not SOL.

    The new Koralias have better designs and are made to be used on timers if wanted.

    Thanks, cool website. Prolly gonna go with what FOD was saying and go with 2 750s and a 240. Just gonna wait till Friday when I get paid lol
