Allergic reaction to something in a tank..... :(

Unfortunately there's not much even the docs can do for us in allergic reaction situations involving aquariums. If you did go in, they would do the exact same thing: give you benadryl and monitor. There's pretty much no anti-anything for any of the toxins that our corals and creatures create, and even if there was, the chances are nill that any local US hospital would have it in stock, nor be able to test to see exactly what the toxin was to even treat it.
ReefDaily, it sounds like to me you may be experiencing more of an injury type deal than a reaction, specially since you say the finger is "crooked". Is it really actually crooked, or does the swelling make it look crooked? Maybe you dislocated it? Maybe a flare of arthritis or carpal tunnel? Anyways, as Inwall said, palytoxins attack your CNS, so you'd be having much different reactions to those than a swollen and sore finger
But yes, benadryl is fine, it's the standard medical treatment to almost any type of reactions. Except if you're like me (I am deathly allergic to benadryl).

 

Well at the time I googled palytoxins. From what I read I was assuming it was the start of a reaction and I was worried about it getting worse. It didn't how ever..

Its not an injury. But I guess it being swollen is making it crooked. It's still swollen, can't fully bend it but it doesn't hurt what so ever. I actually have a bristle worm bite on my other hand, and this feels nothing like it. I gotta start wearing gloves.. but its weird since I never had a reaction like this before from anything related to a fish tank.
