Are you trying to lower or raise?....If raise, u can use plain arm & hammer baking soda will do the trick...

    Welcome to 3reef.

Do you have current Ca, and magnesium levels and what is the current alk level?

    :)

Are you adding any buffering products?

    What salt mix?

    What test kit?

    Any additives like purple up?

I would stop the stabilizer and get a second test on a second kit and make sure you get your magnesium and ca levels as well, they are tied together.

It has been my experience that you need the other values of Ca and Magnesium to assist in solving alk issues. A specific gravity would be nice as well but not essential.

When you can please give us at least the alk level.

3.1 what? What units are you measuring in? If that's in meq/l, your Alk is not low.
