Well guys i have a very aggressive tank. And i NEED a good sand shifter so i picked up a 3" algae blenny atm i have him in the fuge picking at stuff but alot of the sand gets picked up by my pump and clouds my DT tank. Would he be ok if i put him in my DT tank i have a picasso, niger, baby clown trigger, PP, and a 4-5 " lion.

Did your LFS tell you that an algae blenny was a sand sifter? It only grazes on algae growing in your tank. It won't do anything as far as sifting the sand. For that you should look at a fighting conch or some type of goby. There are plenty of gobies that are great at sand sifting. Look at the Diamond, Orange Spot, and Gold Headed sleeper. They all get fairly big so I don't think they would be a problem in your tank.

The only other problem I see is that your tank seems cramped with all of those triggers in there. I have no experience with them so I don't know how they interact and such.

+1 they don't touch the sand. They kick ass at eating algae though.

my algae blenny eats frozen meaty foods. i know that sounds weird because he eats algae but he is the king of my tank.
