Yeah it works pretty well. Also, Roberto at ReefAngel has been helping me with my code. The controller took alot out of me not being very adept at these things, luckily my wife is an IT professional so that made it easier. Im starting to learn the code bit by bit though, and am ALMOST ready to fully implement my new reef brain.

A big pro to the reef angel is the dual ATO and probes included. Now i built the conrtol bridge which ended up taking a couple hours but here it is :

From here my RA will record and display my temp, ph, and control my ato to keep my salinity stable. (something i've never done in 10 years lol)
I will also have if running my Sicce powerheads with alternating random flow, reverse lighting on my fuge, control the pump for my reactors, and lastly keep my heaters in check should the worst happen.

I'm a liar. Lol pool and hot tub store for $8. Since i build a huge eggcrate thing its not as necessary but I like it anyway.

Alex - you might want to consider some snail guards around those ATO switches.

Thanks adicus. The control bridge is it my sump right now and the dual ATO mean I have a little bit of redundancy with the emergency shutoff being the top float switch. I see what you mean a couple of dwarf ceirths could make a back day fast!

In other news I have my main computer up and running my systems. The ATO work great, and I really like the random wavemaker. I mean I know its not a vortech but its not too shabby!

Ran out of time. Next weekend I'll get my reactors up and running as well as the fuge, and take some pics of the millie and wrasse. Also I get more detailed into my reef angel controller, what I have it doing now, and whats in store for the future.

Shin take an early lunch Thursday and show me your tank!
