I will definitely plan to head out there soon!!!! Are you gonna keep using the glass tops?? Have you tried without the glass? The shimmer is even more insane without.

When I first went LED, the clowns were freaking out due to the shimmer on the sand. 2~3 days later, they got used to it tho.

 

Yeah I still have the glass on. I am so worried about bleaching my acros again. I mean they are starting to grow fast and look great, my RP has been bleached for 2 years and the tricolor a year.

 

I feel you, I got pretty anxious when I rebuilt the LED on mine as well. But you know what to do: keep the param stable, give them enough light but not too much, etc. Pretty soon you can start giving me a frag or two ;P

Congrats man! I love the look of my corals under all blue too! Reminds me of some extracurricular activities in college! Thinking of swapping some of my whites out with more blues!

 

I got my carpenter's flasher who hangs up top alot. One thing is noise I know my wife doesn't like the sound at night. Right now the glass tops are really, really dirty with salt creep and what not. I spent all say running errands and playing trivia tonight. Had just enough time to clean up my T5 for boxing up.

On the plus side, I won a $50 gift certificate to my LFS what should i get?!?!?!! They have purple rhodactis shrooms for $25?
