I wish! They didn't make it this week. They were shipping from the east coast so go figure. It ok though, im super sick and after teaching class tonight im just beat! I think im gonna get a clam though. I've been debating it for a long time since the last ones didn't make it. I also want a purple tang, the gods be damned!

 

Ok, ive changed my mins on what I want to do and am looking for input on this.

Instead of hanging from the celing, I'm think about making an a-type frame on either side of my tank, connected along the top with some aluminum bars that I can bolt my radions to. Ill route the base to firmly sit over the corners. Here is a professional rendering of the 3-d model!


What do you guys think? Is there a better way to do this?

 

It looks good, Alex! I used aluminum plates from Homedepot to connect two heatsinks.

Sounds like a good plan for mounting the Radions. We want lots of pics with the new lights.

Shin, its either a Tyree bali Tricolor or a ORA Tricolor Valida, about and inch. Its been pretty beat up in my tanks and was bleached out from my 55 for a long time. I'm seen a metric crap ton of new growth the past two weeks and all the new growth is bright purple or metalic green. The polyps are more green by the day. So between this and my Red Planet frag getting their color back im feeling pretty good.

 

Also I dont have a router so Im going to be using a chisel, I've recently become well acquainted with such a carpentry tool so hopefully it will work out.

 

Tricolor valida.. mmmm... I wish I had something nice enough to swap with you..

 

lol give it a couple months i could probably make that happen.
