Nahh man none at all.. At least my test for it read 0. I mean I've had my shrimp and hermits in there for over a month and they're doing just fine. The clowns are in the DT now too, and they're happy as can be. Honestly, I think it's the LFS I bought it from. All the livestock I've gotten from there has died (2 clowns and the emerald). Then everything else I bought elsewhere hasn't had any problems at all, and the clowns I have now are petco clowns.. I'm definitely not going to be buying any livestock from that LFS anymore, needless to say. I'll post a pic of this serpent star he claimed was "alright" later, your gunna laugh dude. I was giving the guy that owns the store some SERIOUS sh*t.

Always check the SG from the store water and adjust your acclimation time from there. Aerate the water and add Prime if you need to leave the animal in there for more than 15 minutes.

Hello hello hello. I feel like I update this thing a ton lol, but oh well.. Hopefully theres someone out there that reads it haha. Anyways. I got a shipment from Mr. Coral in yesterday.. I got an acan called "the last samurai" acan haha, a glow in the dark favia, a "strawberry lemonade" acro, and a purple mushroom.. Unfortunately the shroom didn't take the shipping well and didn't make it. So they gave me credit for it, but I'm still pretty bummed bc the shroom was so bada$$. I'll post some pics here in the next few days when they start to color up more!

So with the help of 2in10, I've begun a little battle with some bryopsis that I have. I bought a few zoo frags from a dude of craigslist, and a few days later it was popping up on the frags, and since then its been popping up here and there. I went and bought some Kent marine tech m magnesium, and I'll be boosting my mag levels up and see if I can't kill it! I'll let yall know how the battles going periodically..!

I'm pumped for tmrw. This totally awesome LFS called the The Fish Gallery in Houston has been moving to a new location over the passed month, and has the grand opening of it's new store tmrw!! There old store was freakin amazing, so I'm pretty much expecting to be blown away by the new store haha. Hopefully I'll come home with a few goodies too :)

A few new adds today.. The store I thought had it's grand opening today turned out not to be opening it's new store till nexttt saturday. Apparently I can't read a calendar haha. But on the bright side, today was their last day in their new store and their livestock was 50% off! Score. I got a litttlee sand sifting star and a lobo for $25.. Pretty sweet deal. I'm pumped about the star. I've wanted one for awhile, but couldn't find a small one enough, and this lil guy was perfect. The lobo is pretty awesome too, not gunna liee. It's not all the way open yet, but here's a pic.

    Congrats on the new additions.

Watch that sand sifter carefully for signs of melting.

And aw1447, I always follow your thread. It's funny 300 people will view mine and not one will post lol. I just keep posting though, I like looking back at it and seeing the progress.

Haha thanks corailline, I really appreciate that. I like updating anyways, so I'd probably keep on posting if no one posted at all! haha.

I'll def keep an eye on the star though! I've done a ton of research about them, he's a little guy, so I'm really hoping he does well. I'm to the point where my params are stable and spot on, and everything in my tank is doing really well and showing good growth. Its really exciting.

    Hey yall

Today I decided it was time for my next fish! The clowns have been in the main tank for over 2 wks now and they're doing great. I ended up getting a yellow watchman goby, he's a cool little guy. I know, not very original, but I love the color and big frowny face they have haha. So I brought him home and Hes in the qt for his 2 week stint as we speak. He's gotten really pale, almost a grayish color, which I figure is from the stress of the move. I'm hoping he will color back up in the coming weeks though.. Anyone had any experiences with a YWG like that? Or ideas?

Anyways. I have a few mushrooms and a 2 other frags coming in from mr coral sometime this wk, so I'll post a few pics when they do :). Here's a few shots of the DT I just took with my phone of the left and right sides..

Yes they do this when stressed, do have an PVC pipe or anything for him hide in or under in the QT?

They may also turn gray with reproductive maturity. Mine did and still is 2 years later.
