I'll have to try out the radium then. I actually ended up switching back to my phoenix. My corals colors were just slowing waning and didn't look as good overall. So im gunna squeeze a few more months out of the old Phoenix till I can scrap together some extra cash to buy a new one haha.

    Hello everyone.

All is well in the 40! I moved into a new house about 2 months ago, so naturally I brought the tank with me. Fortunately, I only moved about 15 mins away, so I wasn't too worried about losing anything. But MAN was that a pain in the a$$. I basically just took everything out in buckets, including water, then set it back up at the new place.

During the move I added about 8 lbs of rock or so. Along with more sand. Its been about a month. I had a lil mini algae bloom, as expected, but it's starting to dissipate. To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of tanks that are packed with rock, like mine lol. I just started running out of room to put things, and I'm too poor for a bigger tank lol. I like it though. The new setup looks awesome. Good job this tank was one that really pushed me toward a 40B.

A few recent shots of the tank. Everything's pretty much settled in from the move. I'm still working out my scape a little bit. As things grow more I'll have to swap some stuff around. Encroachment has been an issue as you can see haha. Enjoy. A few things here:
    1. You can't keep softies and sps together. They don't go in the same tank.
    2. You can't keep a sps tank under 100 gallons. It's impossible.
    3. Hang on back skimmers are ineffective.

You sir, are a rule breaker. Good looking tank.
