Akool's 72 Bow Front Build

Yea that's the stand I'm gonna use, its a 75 standard. The bow front actually fits just right. I just need to get a piece of board to put on top so it will look more finished. I'd rather use that stand because you can't put much of a sump under a 72 bowfront stand

I hear ya on that one.I had to place my 20 long in through the top of the stand before the DT was added,now im stuck with it and cant get it out lol..
only thing I hate about my set up would be lack of usable room under the bow front stand..good luck on your build.congrats on the great deal..

 

Ok so ive made some progress! Finished my stand, sump, plumbing..now i have a few problems. First my skimmer (Reef Octupus 160) is sooo huge that once i set everything up i will never be able to get it out! Anybody else run into this? Second i have a tun of bubbles coming in my sump through the drain..any fix?

Not sure about the skimmer.

But for the bubble problem, try one of these. This is what I have for my sump.
