I'm looking for a decent HOB / HOT skimmer for my new 86 liter (approx. 20 gal.?) nano reef tank.

    I have the following demands:

    Must include surface skimmer
Must include room for filter sock

    Got any ideas guys?

How loud is it? Like silent, noticeable, loud or Boeing 747?

Been thinking about the Octopus 100F and Via Aqua Multi Skimmer as well. The Octopus is probably pretty much overkill for a 20 gal though.

Pretty much any HOB skimmer is going to be noticable, especially if you haven't had one in the past.I currently have both the CPR bakpac and Prism skimmers running on my two tanks and bakpac is the quieter of the two.I've never used a Remora but have read that they are very quiet.
