So.. my friend has a 3inch Niger Trigger in his 20g saltwater aquarium.
And he's come to realize it's out growing his tank.

He is asking me to take it in, and I am considering it.

I am new to saltwater, but already have two very successful tanks up and running.
    (one 30gallon and one 50gallon.)

    Each with live rock.

I currently have three yellowtail damsels, and three peppermint shrimp.

Two damsels and the three shrimp are in the 50gallon, while the smallest damsel is in the 30gallon after being brutally attacked by the other two.
(It was scary, and sad. he's recovering very well.)

Well, my friend tells me his trigger is very calm and docile.
But, from what I have read, they're very aggressive?

And, I would hate to bring more aggression into these tanks, as I would need to get the shrimp back into the 30gallon to put the trigger in the 50...

But, I don't know how to stock these tanks at all, I am pretty much just running them with barely any fish since I am so new to saltwater..

    Help? Lol.
I have a green-spotted Puffer converting from Brackish to saltwater soon, so I'd like him to get cozy into a tank one day, but that's also scary since I'm so attached to him, I'm worried the other fish would bully him...
    Ughh.

I just need experienced help! Lol.

The trigger would quickly outgrow your systems as well. Also the shrimps may become a quick snack. I would not reccomend taking it, but I do think it is a good idea to find it a new suitable home.

Agreed...and he'll eat virtually any invert you have/put in your tank.

Agree. I had one in the same tank as a Anglerfish. Every time I put ghost shrimp in for the Angler, I had to fight the Trigger back. Great fish with lots of personality but loves shrimp.
