    Thanks !!!

    It's actually a 120.

    4'X2'X2' - we very purposely left it open "island cove" style so we have 3 sides of viewing and all clean sand all around for putting inhabitants down there like acans, blastos, wellsos, trachys, scoly's, etc,

    Yes, we may have to re-think the size of the power heads. This is exactly why I wanted to see a full tank shot. For my taste, you have limited rock (I like a lot of rock). I will re-think the power heads. Here is my 55 gal. with a Koralia #5, #4, #2 and a nano plus the 2 return nozzles, which may seem to be a lot, but see how much rock I have;

    UPDATE:

    So I went home and tried out those Magnum 8 Powerheads in my 120 last night.

    Woops. Too powerful!!! Instant sandstorm and sandbed adjustment.

    I am going with 4 Koralia Evo 1400's instead. That will give me comparable flow and it will be nice and spread out. They were only $30 each so for $120 for all four I am not going to complain!

    I have nothing against VorTech - I have only seen amazing reviews of them.
    But that unit will run a bit more pricey than these koralias.

    I can see myself upgrading to a vortech in the future tho . . .

    So for now these Magnum 8's will go into the 430 gallon tank at work.

    I was going to say.....WHEW! i just tossed a pair of Koralia 4's in my 180 and DANG they are powerful. I also have a closed loop powered by a dart and 1200-1500 gph from my sump. puts me at 40X and it is alot of current. My Stylopora didnt like it much. I had to move it to a more calm area.

    and yes, that 430 is much more suited for the Magnum 8's.

    You could always put those Magnum 8's on a small skiff for a twin screw run-about. :)
