Would this guy eat a Coral Banded Shrimp? Considering that he just ate a Cleaner Shrimp...

sorry to hear about you cleaner shrimp, he did exactly like I said what mine did. Seems fine and then all of a sudden something happens and the cleaner is dead. THe coral banded might be able to hold his own but they are mean. I had one that beat up on my Marron clown in my old 30 gallon. Now you see why I took the falco back unfortunately. :(

Yes I do see. It's unfortunate that the falco is such a cool looking fish because I too am contemplating returning him. At this point if he shows any more aggression towards anything then he is gone, but until then, he stays.

That's exactly why I haven't taken him back already. Not looking forward to it, but best to get it done now rather then later.

I thought you had a good mix of fish to go with the Falco. Problem is, some fish will dictate the direction that the tank will go as far as inhabitants go, and that may not be the direction that you want to go. It's not uncommon to have a Hawkfish that seems like a perfect citizen for a while. I was warned before I got mine, and it took a little while for him to show his true colors. I still have him, but he's in a tank where he is low man.

    These are his tankmates now:

    Blueline, Pinktail & Goldheart Triggers
Blueface & Emperor Angels, Clown Tang

My friend has a mean one that he's trying to get out of his tank, with no luck for months now. That one will go into the Queen Trigger's tank.
