    I just got this blue acropora colony from LFS today for black friday! The LFS guy told me it is relatively an easier acropora to keep. What exactly is this one?

    And currently it is slimming a little bit, is it a big problem?

    It is a deep water bottlebrush acropora... you can put it anywhere in your tank and it will do fine; Lower is typically better though. Generally speaking, they are slow growers and with todays technology and standards for the hobby they are fairly hardy acros.
