my blue tork acro is bleaching. ive had this guy for about two months now, on the top of the rock formations, with high flow for the whole time. it just seems to be where the acro isnt getting any light from my MH. it appears to have turned green and no polyps on the bottom. what should i do?

That isn't bleaching, it is the coloration it has in area that do not receive intense light. The zooxanthellae is becoming dominant in those areas.

Polyps come and go based on their moods and water flow. Polyps show more in higher flow when the lights are on. Look at the acro with lights off, if there are no polyps showing in the areas you are worried about then you might have a problem. Post a pic if you can.

    Do you have a picture?
If it was bleaching it would be white.

Unless it is white it isn't bleaching. Just unhappy possibly or the type of acro you have just grows that way. I have one that only has polyps on the tips and the rest of the branches change to a different color from the tips, this is quite common.

Yeah they are tough to figure out. Just look at pictures people have posted here to see the variety of forms.
