How did it take so long for a company to come up with this? Love this thing!

I'm curious. What does everyone use for acclimating?

Innovative Marine is going to be selling them. Hopefully they will be cheap!

They didn't come up with anything. There are a few stores selling drip lines similar to that for a couple of years at least. I make my own and just use a hairdryer to bend some rigid airline tubing and attach the soft airline tubing and an airline valve. Very easy and very cheap.

I have a Reef Gently Acclimate box. I bring it to the LFS when I buy fish to transport them back, and keep them in it to acclimate them. It is also made to be a trap, which I will put to the test today when I move my wrasse from the QT to the DT :)

I'm afraid of getting one simply because it uses suction cups which could fail while acclimating.

The are awesome little devices, but they are also a little bit complicated for everyday use. My usual method is to tie a drip line around my Loc-Line and tie a knot. Innovative's kit just takes those steps out of the process for me.

Don't be! One of the suction cups it comes with will easily hold the unit full of water; 3 is more than enough! As long as the glass/acrylic and the cups are clean, there is no worry of them failing. In fact you usually have a hard time getting them all off :)
