I noticed a swimming worm about a week ago. Its about 1cm to 2cms long and its white. Now have been noticing multiples. Up to 4. What are they and are they bad?

It is most likely an epitoke, which are how many worm species spawn. The worm either fully changes or creates a segment that breaks off and is nothing more than a vehicle to carry the worm's eggs or sperm up into the currents and release its payload. I have more on this subject along with photos within the worm section of my hitch hiker pages if you care to look.
