I have been thinking and doing reaserch for additions to my tank and for my 30 build that I have been planing the past few weeks, and have fallen in love with wrasses! They are beautiful fish and going to my LFS I have realized the many personalitys they have and how great they would be for my tanks! I know some people on here have tanks dedicated to them and would like to see some photos!

Wrasses are awesome fish.... they really do have great personality and add to a tank for sure. in a 30 i would recommend you pick the wrasse you love and buy a male and female of that type. i recently removed and found homes for 2 of my wrasses because they were going after the flame wrasses i have. my tank is a 35 gallon. in my last tank i had 3 wrasses without a problem but it was a 58 gallon tank and i guess they had enough room. oh all my wrasses were listed as peaceful and were different types of fairy's. so they should have all been fine. but really 30 gallons is to small for a totally wrasse tank if thats what your thinking, even peaceful fish become territorial. just a little food for thought.

Well I was able to rehome the Hippo just the other day and I picked up a sixline wrasse yesterday for the 55, but I was hoping to add one or two more to the tank that will get along with the hog fish and the percs I was thinking a pair of Paracheilinus mccoskeri or a Paracheilinus lineopunctatus or a long finned fairy wrasse, or quite possible the salon fairy wrasse. I have been doing some research and I do realize that they will not work in the 30 so I can settle with them in the 55 and do some rearranging lol.
