So the other day I did a long past due WC and rearranged my rocks which I haven't done in over 9months.

Wanted to go for a look that would allow for better flow around rocks, give me more space away from my walls for easier cleaning, and just a more naturally appealing look. I really like how it turned out even though I ended up finding my pistol shrimp dried out and on the floor, also lost a powerhead while cleaning the propeller, the shaft that holds the PH to the magnets snapped off so I'm in search of my proof of purchase lol! .02 cent piece is gonna ruin an entire jbj ocean pulse 500

Anyways comments and suggestions are always welcomed and encouraged!

Not to bad for only 4 rocks! haha

    Thanks guys!

And for the record it'd look helluva lot better if my sand wasn't gross. I'm itching to pull the trigger and order an MP10 ES just to get rid of all the hassle I deal with using powerheads and this and that, and I feel like once more flow is established the algae on the rocks as well as on the sand bed will start to dissipate.

Well!! I did it! Just spend nearly a weeks wage on a stupid piece of plastic! We'll see how sexy it is once it arrives. So tired of seeing people talking about their vortechs like it's a trophy girlfriend or something. Had to get my own to lay all that crap to rest and see for myself. Hope it was worth it for my 29g Biocube! Paid more for vortech than I did for the biocube itself! (29g Biocube was $195 from LFS - MP10es $235 after tax and shipping)

What made me pull the trigger was watching the videos of the water moving back and forth and being able to essentially "customize" your own wave. Even an expensive wave maker box doesn't do that I don't think.

Next item in my arsenal to purchase is a Canon 18megapixel w 50-250mm lens. Its a sexy camera... oh ya and I need an ATO :)

Sweet! You know at first, I didn't see the lables and thought it was before and after. Then I noticed it was revered and was glad to see!

Btw congrats on the Vortech :)

Big fan of The Aquatic Gardeners Association's. Many other tanks were used as influence!
