    hi everyone. firstly, i probably should have put this post in the diy section, but i havn"t done it yet and its more of a query...
    have any of you guys here ever made your own tank?? if they have what was is like ????? i have looked and looked for a new tank but cant really find anything i like the look of (especially as i want open top and sump)!!!!!!however, i have found a lfs that does supply panes of glass and sealent and it seems like a good idea to diy!!! but is it?? any suggestions appreciated... many thanks all :)

    The only DYI's I have seen for tanks is acrylic, But maybe someone else can chime in.
