A bug in my tank

    Was staring into my tank amd there was what looked like a see through beetle crawl out of a hole and crawl into another. No pic. Was too fast

    A Copod, very good to see.
    You'll probably get a good pic if you search Amphipod...

    i have these (or something very similar),bout the size of a ladybug ,maybe a tad smaller and very fast! i believe they are amphipods?

    I would bet that it is a amphipod. They are small crustations that you deffinetly want in your system, not only are they a good food source for everything in your tank they are little janitors too, eating uneaten food and fish poop...

    Good work. Seems like the only people who get them are the ones who aren't tryin! I finally got them when I stopped trying. Figures..

    Ok I thought pods were the little tiny creachers on my glass. Like 1000s of little fleas This was bigger like a lady bug like what someone mentioned
