    Just thought i would show you guys my tank and how its doing. Its a 75 gallon.

    Equipment
    seaclone 160 protein skimmer
    25 gallon sump
    2 1300 cheap ass power heads
    4 65 pc lighting
    stand,tank,canopy (you know)

    Fish
    1 chromis
    2 clownfish mated pair
    1 firefish
    1 coral beauty angelfish
    1 hippo tang (no tang police)
    1 sailfin tang (no tang police)

    Corals
    kenya tree
    watermelon zoos
    toadstool
    yellow polyps
    gsp
    pulsing xenia
    red polyups

    Just getting started on corals

    Nice CB, your tangs must like the GHA. What are your nitrate/phosphate levels?

    love the CB and GSP.. make sure you upgrade to uvl pc bulbs your next time for replacements.. I swear by them as I use the 14k and 454nm myself..

    Nitrates are 15 a little high but i have been busy and havent had to time to work on it. Ill get to it soon but i dont know what my phoshates are i dont have a test kit for that.

    you probly got a little phos. in your tank with those nitrates from your algae growth. old bulbs can/will grow algae too.. how old are those bulbs?

    Looks good Mark...What do you have as a clean up crew? A few snails would help with the hair algae. It would be a good idea to get a test kit so you will know what your levels are.

    Hey mark, looks good! i notice your sailfin has a little bit of HLLE. this can be caused from an electrical current traveling through the water or else a poor diet.
    To fix it you can 1. test for electrical current in the water and add a grounding probe. 2. feed more nori/seaweed. and 3. go and purchase some pure vitamin C pills. add about 2000mg to your tank twice a day and also allow your tang's food to soak in Vitamin C for a few minutes before you feed him.
