Found a 65g bow front used on another forum, he said he'd be interested in a partial trade. So I was wondering if trading a 2 month old 36" coralife lunar deluxe power compact fixture and $20 cash is a good deal or am I getting ripped? It comes with a cheap home made stand. Ill try to get a picture, any advice is appreciated.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I like the bow fronts and the increased gallons are very nice. Does not sound like a rip-off to me. As long as you do not have to purchase new lighting, pumps....... in reality that all has to be figured in as well. And the personally I would want a better stand. JM2C

Yea I would definitely redo the stand. My skimmer may be a little small for a 65g and my over flow system may be too small as well.

+1 to getting or building a better stand. No room to add a sump/fuge and it is a little ugly IMHO.

Also, that tank doesn't look like a real bowfront, looks more like it just has rounded edges. Maybe it's just the way I'm looking at it though.

I say go for it as long as the tank is in good condition and holds H20 haha.

I think that if it is really a bowfront the trade is a good one like everyone else has said i would make or buy a better stand. an upgrade for skimmer and overflow is worth it just for the tank. BF tanks make such great show tanks if arranged correctly. im currently building a 50 gallon acrylic BF on a 5foot 5inch stand with a built in center overflow and a 25 gallon sump. i think you have one heck of a deal even if you need some upgrades. GO FOR IT!!!

Looks nice. I've heard those "one-piece" setups are expensive. It looks nice, and like the others said, make sure you don't dig yourself a hole with having to get all new equipment for it. Also, make sure that you wash it very well. You don't know what has been in that tank, and could possibly leach.

Deminsions are 39"Lx19"Wx22"H. I googled the the deminsions and came up empty. I don't think its one peice all the way around, just the sides and front are one peice. Maybe I miss understood him.
