I'm trying to up grade to a bigger tank. I'm thinking on getting a 60 gallon cube reef ready at the lfs it is only 200 and some change is the to much bc the 30 gallon cube isn't reef ready and its less than 120 dollars.

i want a bigger tank than my ten gallon i got now

    any thoughts...
what well it cost me to set up a 60 cube right.
and is it better to go for the regular tanks

A 60 gallon cube with overflows is worth much more than $200. Is it new? Acrylic or glass? Dimensions?

I would say you would be looking at about $1000-$2000 to get it set up plus live rock and sand to start your cycle.

Try to buy your rock off craigslist. Will be cheaper than at your LFS. However, you will need to make sure you get the history of the rock/tank first (ex, copper, pests, diseases, ick). This could save you a few hundred dollars.

Do you plan on doing a sump/fuge/canister? What about lighting and other equipment do you think you want. Really depends on what you want to do. Buy equipment you need for the corals you want.
