6 line wrase

Are 6 line wrase aggresive? Thats what my lfs told me, and sometiems i hear they are community in 3reef. So im pretty much in confused mode at the moment.

 

they can be towards other fish introduced after them, but you would probably be fine

 

ive always had a six line in all my reef tanks with out any problem of aggression.

 

Mine was very peaceful, but he jumped eventually, so watch out for that. Make sure to have a lid on the tank of some sort.

 

mine has been kind of aggresive to new editions but not bad i would add him later on so he less prone to be aggresive also for feeding him make sure you have copepods in your tank he doesnt need them but they sure do like them try feeding him flake and pellet food once hes big enough but over all great fish dont add him if you have a mandarin

 

I have had in few in various tanks , The last one I had for a year (then decided to jump out). He was always peaceful towards other tank mates. The only time he would show aggression is when introducing a new fish.

 

My six line is a little fireball. He has been agressive to new fish that are added in the tank but then eventually settles down, he does not like seeing his reflecton is the glass, howver ne gets along with everyone now.

 

Mine jumpe dout, too.. They are very bold fish, but min enever picked on anyone.. RIP

 

My sixline is very very active, but never aggressive. I put jump guards on the top of tank now that he's bigger, cuz I've read that they can be jumpers. I QT'd the sixline for 6 weeks, which makes sure he's healthy and is eating well before I put it in DT, I think that helped it settle in with the other tankmates.

 

I kept one for a while. Never had any aggression issues.
