58 gallon megaflow - first tank

hrmm... indeed. You'd fit right in at our shop...sometimes I think we never made it past 5th grade.

Anyways, I will certainly keep an eye on the bio balls. My concern is that they're rather difficult to remove from this sump/fuge.... they're not bad getting back in, but you have to kind of fish them out one/two at a time.

Cutting the top part off, and putting in a sock may work better.

 

Filter sock--great idea!! I did that on mine and I love it!! I have 2 and rotate them twice a week--keeps water crystal clear and no bubbles
