    rocks

    Oh yeah rocks.

IMO i would NOT add anything living right now.At best your 2 weeks away from adding anything...but that's just my 2cents.

Live sand, yeah that's ok to add right away because it will help cycle your tank, live rock some people do add LR right away... I wouldn't cuz i don't wanna just kill stuff but that's just me.

add live rock when you get your tank set up. it will help the cycle. if you add live rock later, you will start another cycle.
you do need to feed some corals. some just need good water quality and light. for each coral you want you need to research lots BEFORE you buy it so you know what it needs in regards to food, light, flow, etc.

    Live rock

If your water is not just right you will kill all the live rock, even if your water is perfect most likely their will be some die-off. No i would NOT recommend you putting live rock in your tank. Live rock is costly! After the cycling of the tank for at least 3 weeks IMO and if your water is just right then add one rock at a time every few weeks. If i was you i would get used to a few things before trying to deal with living anything. Like doing testing, cleanings, getting rock in the perfect place, etc. and reading all you can about your new hobbie.

    Good luck,
    Mike

it could. you should maybe cover the tank when dust is around. are you using any chemicals or stain, paint, etc around your tank?

Read this thread, it further talks of the importance of adding live rock NOW instead of after cycling. you WILL have SOME die off, but you will have die off no matter when you add the live rock. i cycled my tank with live rock and still have tons of living stuff on it. from pods to peanut worms to feather dusters, and even a hermit crab hitchhiker.
