    The AquaMaxx HOB-XC will fit tanks with a rim up to 1" thick. You will need to measure the distance from the edge of the tank to the opening in order to tell for certain if it will be a good fit. You can always make some small notches in the acrylic rim to accommodate the skimmer but just be careful not to damage or crack the aquarium. A Dremmel tool works well for these types of modifications.

    Thank you... that's very kind and generous. :) I was only trying to bump your thread with a bit of humor though; it appeared to be getting lost without very many views. Had the model I ordered been on the sale list however, I would've gladly accepted a refund. :D
