    and with shallow tanks you wont have to get nipple deep to clean your glass.

    I run a 48x30x12 now. it is excellent. Top down is so cool! I recommend it.
    Only downfall is that rockscaping is hard. I mostly just attach corals to the tank itself and then they encrust and grow. For flow I just run two vortech pumps. they do great so I am satisfied with that.

    Hey Trent, what do you think about lighting?I think I might go mh/t5/led combo and I have 2 175 watt mh still from an old tank so I won't need to buy anything new or do you think I should go with higher wattage mh or more?

    I run a 250w on a light mover for 10hours a day. does just fine for acros and lps the same. Honestly I think I could do a 150 or a 175 on the light mover and still be okay with how shallow it is.
    I also have some supplemental blue LEDs but that doesnt contribute much, really just to the color.
