    Hey guys, I'm ready to drill my 46 BF and wanted to check with you all to make sure before I drill.

    The tank is a Aqueon 46 gallon Bowfront. Is this tak tempered on the back pain of glass? I have read it's just the bottom and the front (curved) glass is tempered but just wanna make sure before I have a thousand pieces of glass on the floor! Thanks

    I contacted Aqueon and they said most likely that it was the bottom pane and the front pane of glass but to have a glass shop look at. I took the tank outside and looked at it through my sunglasses which have polarized lenses and sure enough, I was able to clearly see the difference between the tempered and non tempered glass. Holes are drilled now it's on to the plumbing.
